Childcare Vouchers

The Trust provides childcare payments to parents living in our area for children up to 12 years of age. Recipients must be in receipt of benefit and attending training or returning to work. A total of 49 parents have been supported through the scheme during the period April 2002 to March 2003. This is a significant rise on the previous year when 27 parents were supported.

Negotiations are ongoing with Sure Start St Ann‘s and Sneinton to enhance this programme, potentially affording an increased allocation per child and more active support to those families who prefer to use informal childcare.
