Criminal Records Bureau Disclosures

The Trust became a registered umbrella body for the new Criminal Records Bureau's Disclosure service last year. This allows the Trust to not only arrange for police checks to be made on Renewal Trust Staff but also to provide this service to other community and voluntary groups in our area.

Since September 2002 we have carried out over 50 CRB Disclosure checks, including checks on staff and volunteers for Nottinghamshire Hospice, the Chase Action Group and Sure Start Sneinton. These checks make a big contribution to the child protection policies and vulnerable adult protection polices of these organisations.
