Engaging Nurturing Individuals & Groups 2 Maintain Achievement

Funded for the coming year are:

• An outreach, detached and centre based youth project for BME young people, aged between 13 to 19.
• Learning through planned activities, including sport & leisure, IT and Youth Work , to give opportunities for accredited qualifications.
• Dance and drama, beauty therapy, massage, relaxation and aromatherapy, along with music, DJ skills, mixing, stage management, editing and film; football, martial arts, basketball and much more.

Local young people are very aware of what is happening in their community, of the widespread drug use and dealing, prostitution, gang war and unemployment. They all have at least one friend or relative involved in some way and the danger is that they may follow this route.

ENIGMA has made a great start with 31 young people already involved. Three are undertaking Sports Leader's Award; ten in dance sessions, four in martial arts and fourteen in football. These numbers are expected to increase as the programme develops over the coming year.
